Daniel Plyam is a creative producer and lifelong New Yorker. He grew up in Brooklyn and studied film at NYU. While working as a PA in film and television, he wrote several feature-length screenplays, two of which reached the Academy Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinals (2017, 2018). He then moved into news documentaries at Vice News, working his way up from production assistant to producer and winning two Emmy awards.
